The "Village Change Begins with Innovation in Education" project, which aims to improve the quality of education in rural areas of Diyarbakır, has officially launched. The project is being implemented in collaboration with the Karacadağ Development Agency, the Diyarbakır Provincial Directorate of National Education, the Şanlıurfa Provincial Directorate of National Education, and the Village Schools Change Network.

With the project implemented within the scope of the Holistic and Inclusive Education Capacity Increase Program in Rural Areas, 60 teachers working in villages will be trained in 8 different fields.

Speaking at the opening ceremony held at Adnan Menderes Anatolian High School in Kayapınar, Project Coordinator Nevzat Can stated that their main goal is to support the professional development of teachers.

"Our teachers will pass on what they have learned not only to their students but also to their parents in the new academic year. Our goal is to create high-quality and innovative learning environments in rural areas," he said.

Zeynep Yıldız, one of the teachers participating in the project, stated that they are currently receiving music education, saying, "With this education, we aim to reveal children's creative thoughts and offer a different learning process by combining the relationship between nature and music."

Abbas Sargül, a class teacher who said he has been working at the village school for 17 years, expressed his hope that such projects would continue:

"We will have the opportunity to apply the training we received directly in the classroom. This type of training provides great benefits for us teachers."
