The start of the new academic year is just days away. Türkiye's enrollment rate is extremely high, but in today's world, where artificial intelligence and developing technology are transforming every aspect of life, ensuring equal opportunity in education and equipping the young generation with 21st-century skills is crucial. When we look at recent social responsibility investments, we see that institutions are implementing projects with this foresight and vision. Projects that connect children with science while educating them, support women's increased participation in the workforce through the use of technology, and aim to help young people acquire new skills all aim to create social transformation while ensuring equal opportunity.
VILLAGE CHILDREN ARE BECOMING ENTERTAINED TO SCIENCE
Bayer Türk's "Curious Classrooms in the Village" project, implemented in collaboration with KODA (Village Schools Exchange Network), aims to foster a love of science among children living in villages. The guide, prepared for teachers and prospective teachers working in multigrade classrooms across Anatolia, aims to help students develop their curiosity, observation, research, discovery, and scientific reasoning skills. In its first year, the project reached over 95 village teachers and prospective teachers, 1000 of whom were in earthquake-prone areas, reaching 17 students.
