The training program provided to strengthen the professional experience of classroom teachers working in rural schools within the scope of the "Change in the Village Begins with Innovation in Education" project in Şanlıurfa continues.

Within the scope of the holistic and inclusive education capacity increase program in rural areas, carried out with the slogan "Change in Villages Begins with Innovation in Education" in cooperation with the Karacadağ Development Agency, Şanlıurfa and Diyarbakır Provincial Directorates of National Education and the Village Schools Exchange Network, a four-day basic education program began simultaneously in Şanlıurfa and Diyarbakır with the participation of 60 teachers each.

Supported by the Karacadağ Development Agency as part of its "Results-Oriented Program for Children and Youth," the project aims to support the professional, pedagogical, and psychosocial development of teachers working in rural areas. The project aims to strengthen equal opportunities in education and ensure sustainable development by incorporating the socio-cultural and environmental characteristics of rural areas into education.

As part of the program, classroom teachers working in rural schools receive both theoretical and practical training from expert teachers in eight areas, including classroom management, combined classroom education, social-emotional learning, inclusive education, village-school-family relations, drama, music, and learning in nature. As part of this program, 8 classroom teachers began their training at H. Sabiha Özlek Anatolian High School. "Change in the Village Begins with Innovation in Education" Project Coordinator Merve Çolaksel said, "With the projects we've implemented on behalf of the Şanlıurfa Provincial Directorate of National Education, we aim to support the professional and pedagogical development of our teachers and create high-quality and innovative learning environments in rural areas. Our teachers will learn new methods in eight different areas. When they go to schools in the new academic year, they will share the methods, techniques, and knowledge they acquire with their students and with parents and everyone else in the village setting. We will also train educators as part of the program. These teachers will share the knowledge they acquire with their colleagues and will actively participate in subsequent academic years. We have teachers with six years of experience and others with 60 years of experience. We asked them to volunteer for the program. They all came willingly to the training. Our teachers will share the knowledge they acquire here with their students and colleagues when they return to their schools."

Mehmet Demir, a class teacher who volunteered to participate in the training, said, "We are receiving music education here. We will bring together the relationship between nature and music. We will blend and synthesize them."

Classroom teacher Mehmet Bilen stated that he has been working in village schools for 15 years, saying, "We've benefited from each other's experiences here. We support this type of training. We'll have the opportunity to apply the training we've received in our own classrooms. We're learning new teaching techniques here. This training will make our work much easier. I hope this type of training continues."
